It’s All in the Family

Greystone Golf Course has been family run since day one. Built in 1965, the course was formally known as Confederation Country Club and was founded by the Hall Family. It was purchased by the Stouts in 2000 and they have been sharing their love of the game with area golfers ever since. Many improvements have taken place over the last few years. Most notably, a new practice green and state of the art clubhouse with a bar and restaurant and patio suitable for any type of event.

The 9 hole course features wide open fairways to bring out the big hitters in everyone. The small push up greens (a design feature of the day) make the course layout challenging for the lower handicapper yet enjoyable for the recreational player. The course is easy to walk but power cart rentals are available to those who would prefer to ride.

A unique feature of Greystone Golf Course is that it plays two ways. In the spring/early summer and fall, the course plays like a typical North American style golf course. However, due to the clay based soil, the course firms up in the dry summer months to force the golfer to play a bump and run game as if they were playing the old courses like St. Andrews.
